The Studio@620, projectAlchemy, and Rebekah Lazaridis present a new collaborative experience centered around the idea that in order to truly change, sacrifices must be made.
Redefining cycles of renewal through interactive design and performance, "Bloom and Residue" is an immersive experience that marries dance with visual art while exploring themes of change, transformation and new life. A sample of the complete experience will be offered during Second Saturday Artwalk on March 9 with full performances on March 15-17.
This experience is not a typical dance performance and the audience will stand and move thru The Studio@620 space, similar to the way an art exhibit is traditionally viewed. For this reason there will be only limited seating for those who are unable to stand for duration of the presentation.
